Holy Days

The seasons of the Church’s year are as beautiful and colourful as the changing seasons of the created world! Through the turning of the year, we celebrate the mystery of our Salvation, as we are drawn deeper into the saving work of Christ – from his birth in Bethlehem to his death on the cross and his glorious Resurrection and Ascension into heaven.

These simple resources provide means through which you can celebrate and reflect on these feasts and fasts at home and in your daily life.

With a short explanation of each feast or season, followed by an idea for prayer, we hope these seasonal snippets will help to enrich your life of prayer.
